Version of the custom_component

1.0.11 - 1.0.12 ans 1.0.13 tested Home Assistant 2023.12.1 / 2023.12.2 and 2023.12.3 tested

What vacuum are you using?

4 Roborock S8 Pro Ultra (3 on Local Network, 1 in another network) - all setup in 1 app

Firstly Robots couldnt be found anymore for some days. Afterwards I reinstalled everything and changed different version. Buts always the same problem. The integration shows as setup correctly, but no robots are found. Inside the Roborock app everything works fine.

adamzeis commented 8 months ago

Currently experiencing the same. Added the integration, logged in but no vacuums are found. I have 3 all in the Roborock app on the same network.

I noticed this too. Not sure if this is an acceptable solution for you, but it seems to only be happening on the HACS version of homeassistant-roborock. From the troubleshooting I did last night, it seems this integration was ported into the homeassistant source in the may update (see here). So if you uninstall it from HACS and reboot, you will still see it in your integrations. Uninstalling the HACS version and switching to the homeassistant version solved this issue for me.

Thanks, Tried this multiple times with no luck. Now I just get an error and the native integration won't load at all after entering my email and verification code.

Krystm commented 8 months ago

Is HACS still the recommended install? I am seeing the same thing. App sees my 6s Max and nothing on the HACS version of the integration. Not a huge deal as not using it for much outside logging but now it doesn't show up even after deleting and re-setting up.

The HACS version no longer works for me either...broke down again a few days ago unable to find any vacuums.

I removed the HACS repo and installed the native HA version and it works again.

jenoforizs commented 8 months ago

Well, right now, for me neither the HACS nor the native HA version works properly - they can't find the robot... (it would be my 1st installation) (HA core: 2024.1.0, Roborock S7 MaxV)

driveformer commented 8 months ago

Also having an issue, HACS version says I have nothing and it seems for a few days the HA version is broken. I'm guessing something on roborock's side broke this.

jenoforizs commented 8 months ago

Actually, a kind of magic happened at my side, it works now - I don't really know and understand why, since I didn't do anything, "just" kept on trying and applied all the updates came to HAOS in the last few days.

Now I have a weird glitch where I can't select authentication method, and when I typed in my one time code it responded "unknown_roborock" hmm

I just updated dacite and got it working. connected to the docker container and ran "pip install dacite -U"
