**mens and layout parameters

Is it possible to use layout parameters when the **mens interpretation is also being used? In this example, I am trying to place the string "2. I." below the staff. I have tried to do the same in **kern and it works there.

In mens:

I guess that I have not needed this before, so I never have tried implemented it. In any case, verovio does not seem to implment text display on notes:

For now you can emulate it by using **text to create <verse> content:
