It would be really great to see webcal:// implemented! At the moment it is not possible to sync with calendar on mac. I think there are quite a lot users outside using mac and icloud.

For me, thanks to the external-calendar module, HumHub calendar entries can be synchronised on my Mac and across my iOS devices. You need to use the calendar export option in HH (provided by the external-calendar module) to generate a link you can then use to subscribe to on the Mac calendar. By using iCloud as the location for the subscribed-to HH calendar, other iCloud connected devices can be synchronised.

Thanks @tinkat69. That's right and this is a great feature. What I was looking for is the other direction. I would like to add a date in my calendar here on my computer and have this calendar entry be synchronized within humhub. This works with google calendar but not with icloud.

Ah, ok. Sorry, misunderstood. That would be useful to be able to sync in the other direction - also from an iPhone for events which crop up on the move. Good suggestion.
