Error message:

Cannot change to directory ./general: No such file or directory

There is a mismatch between relative path in SQL-scripts \copy-statements, and current working directory in the Sqitch container. Note:

Sqitch script (~/bin/sqitch) bind-mounts current folder (in host) to /repo.
SQL-scrips does a \cd /repo/general/deploy (specified in deploy_submission.bash).
\copy-statements assumes current working directory is general/deploy

Solved by using Docker
