hello, there is a better way to install python deps from requirement files. see: https://pip.pypa.io/en/stable/user_guide/#requirements-files

This is great, thanks @sudoes, @alextricity25. I'm teaching my students about pull requests and github right now, so I'll land this later in the week when I can show them how it works.
