Feature Modifications #178

Here some changes i whould like to see:

  1. Pixel Blue accent color in settings icons
  2. Option to force enable white+dark text theme
  3. Maybe some translation strings soon (i know that this is in your future to do list sometime, plz consider)
  4. Maybe your debug version of launcher should be renamed to original pixel launcher package name so that lean glance extension won't be necessary (?)
  5. I know that this won't be an easy task but how about add the old pill widget with weather as an alternative option to glance widget?

Hey,

  1. This came up a few times, however, the way the accent color is implemented, it would be extremely inconvenient to provide other choices, and only static choices would be possible. For this reason, this is most likely not going to happen, maybe once in the far future...

  2. Hm, I saw some references to it, I will see about it sometime.

  3. Yeah, I want to finish another feature or two before starting to get translations, and then again I will have to figure out how to get those. Professional translations may be too expensive, and I'm not sure about crowdsourced translations.

  4. Maybe, however there are some changes that would have to be reverted for that. Also, maintaining two package names means double the crash reporting tools to be maintained, etc. Not to mention the convenient "feature" that you can seamlessly switch between the Play Store version and the debug version, just by installing one over the other. This would not be possible with a different package name.

  5. Well, I'm not sure about this. Before doing anything like this, I will most likely wait for the public P release, and see what happens there. Maybe At A Glance design will change once again, and it will be a better idea to follow up on that?

Also, my main problem is, I tend to have way less time than I had a month or two ago, that means I have a way slower progress than I would like... So, there are a lot of things to do, with little to no time available... Thanks for the feedback!
