I had some issues on latest ERX (v1.10.5), so applied these to improve the stopping of the GUI

The kill 0 forces user to close all the GUI tab, but I guess SIGTERM wouldn't hurt anyway. Thanks for making it better.

Aah, that'd explain why it was hanging.. I wasn't looking at the UI, maybe I was being prompted to close my tabs :)
