Login remember me doesn't work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select Remember me and login to engile instance  
2. close the tab and not the browser instance
3. Try to access in the same browser instance
4. Accessing Engile.html works. 
5. Accessing Auth.html asks you for credentials again. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should allow you to login without asking for credentials.

But it doesn't and asks you for authentication again. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
What should be the behavior if user bookmarks and accesses Auth.html again 
in the same instance.
