New field called Inclusive_Prey_Taxon created which is "yes" if the Fraction_Diet value in a given row represents the proportion of the diet made up by all members of the prey taxon specified in that row (i.e. inclusive). Inclusive_Prey_Taxon is "no" when the prey taxon specified in that row refers to the subset of that prey taxon that are not otherwise specified to a lower taxonomic level in other rows of the same diet analysis. E.g., "Beetles" would be entered as "Coleoptera, Inclusive_Prey_Taxon = yes", whereas "Unidentified beetle" would be entered as "Coleoptera, Inclusive_Prey_Taxon = no" as long as there are other beetle entries within that analysis.
Many entries in the "Unidentified" field are empty. Go through and fill in. In most cases, this is because the record was not of an unidentified prey, but this should be confirmed.
When this is complete, create a new field based on this field called "Inclusive" which I think is a better descriptor of the information in this field (i.e., does the taxonomic name refer to the inclusive set of concepts under that name, or in the case of "Non-vespid wasps" being recorded as "Hymenoptera") is it NOT inclusive?
However, this requires converting all yes's under Unidentified to no's under Inclusive and vice versa.
After this is complete, we can delete the Unidentified field.
