1 year ago I was just looking on the pyinfra. It is awesome but it has lack of some. Here is some of my thoughts in first few minutes:
- You can't just get output from a server.shell command.
- Interdependent operation limitation will be a problem in the long term.
I'm feeling like I am going to invent the wheel in some parts but overall but I really liked the project. It allow us to write some python code in the mean time and it is a big plus for me. I will keep an eye on the projects but I will not going to use it for now.
I will test Ansible and pyinfra execution times and simplicity. I will probably go with Ansible because it is kind of industry standart but maybe I go with both.
