Not updating appearance settings outside of restarting device

What is the bug?
The appearance settings as of the most recent update will not update in the app 
until the phone is restarted. 

 What are you expect to see?
I am using the current widget locker app as a home screen replacement. Prior to 
the update, I could change a setting and have the widget update in widget 
locker. 

What is your device model?
Samsung galaxy s2 module i777 at&t

 what android version are you using? 
4.0.3

Please describe detailed steps how to reproduce.
I changed the settings in the app, then put the widget on the widget locker 
screen, but the settings never changed. I took the widget down and readied it, 
as well as tried to update it while the widget was in place, no update. I had 
taken the widget off, and my phone died. Adding the widget back after that 
mention keeping the settings I had. I tested it further by keeping the lock 
screen widget active, changing settings, then restarting, and it worked. I'm 
currently unsure if it's you or widget locker, but you had the most recent 
update.

You should change LS Expanded preset on appearance settings.

you can also try re-sizing the widget. it might help.
