What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Global
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
'no service'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I have the sensation XE (same as sensation but clocks at 1.5) GSM so not the 4G

Please provide any additional information below.
running tripNmiui latest with his lastes kernel which clocks at 1.4 max.
Flashed yours to get more speed...

I have no Kernel that clocks @ 1.4 max. Also It would be the AOSP version of
the kernel, which is @ 1.3r2 currently. There are two available: 1ghz & 1.5Ghz.
Now I did your work, I found out which version you are using.
Additionally some logfiles would be necessary. last_kmsg, dmesg

Furthermore seems this to be a miui problem, I got no reports of no service @
cm7 so far. (which uses aosp drivers)

I didn't say you have a 1.4 option... I said that I was using tripNmiui rom
(+kernel) BUT I flashed your to get more speed (1.56 Ghz) and yes it's the
1.3r2... but since I flashed the 1.3r2 kernel I get 'no service'...

I switched back to the latest version of Trip with his kernel and everything
seems to work fine (1.4 Ghz android 2.3.7)

try v1.3r3, if it still is persistent, he made some changes to his kernel.
Because this is an aosp kernel, there will be no support for that.

Ok... I've read something about 'aosp' only being for Miui and cyanogen... ?
