[x] Set up a server and client class
[x] Get server to accept connections from clients
[x] Get clients to acknowledge being connected
[x] make command to transition server into 'gameplay' state (a command line input after starting?)
[x] Make server refuse attempts to connect once a game is started

not sure if I should have put the server connect item in with this one or not (re: conversation this weekend), but that's a separate item atm fyi
