Will it work with home router Keenetic KN-1810? #4

Hello!

Guys, I'm wondering will this module work with home router like Keenetic KN-1810 without involving any tricks like grounding its pins and/or updating its firmware?

Changing the firmware is more for GPON-side compatibility.

About the compatibility with this router, there is no way to know without testing, or maybe checking the router internals. There are devices which don't care about the pin 6, and others which need it to be grounded first to power the SFP.

https://help.keenetic.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000049259-SFP-module-compatibility-list lists the MA5671A, which is similar to the G-010S-A, but doesn't have the pin 6 issue (because it uses different pins for the serial port).
