Thought it might be a good idea to collect a list of future projects:
1) how does it work cross-species - start off with e.g. hybrid swarms such as African lake cichlids, gibbons, or oak trees. Move on to higher-level phylogenetics and test e.g. on the afrothere/xenarthran problem.
2) Whole genome ancestral character state reconstruction.
3) reconstruct known family trees (humans, or perhaps Galapagos finches)
