We do have quite a number of Lion installs, including test machine in our lab. Can you please provide some additional details? Check output from Console.app

Any parental filtering installed?
No, not that I'm aware of, although the machine is owned by a large company so there may be some filtering I'm unaware of. You can close this issue if you like, as I was able to get the source installation working, even though the installer doesn't work.
Hi @clemcke you might retry the latest installer for OSX. I think we've resolved some longstanding permissions problems. If you still have problems, perhaps you can open another issue on that repo at https://github.com/hybridgroup/kidsrubyinstaller-osx

Using mac os installer, it halts installation, claiming 'Operating System is not supported'
