more than once i wanted to access stuff from index.js that isn't exposed. not saying that everything should be exposed but... maybe an object with some stuff

Is this a duplicate of https://github.com/hydra-synth/hydra/issues/157? Uses cases + specific things that could be exposed would be helpful!

mhmhm i think I thought about this as more broad than the #157 . but it's on the same topic, exposing more parts of the editor and hydra synth to the user.
