Hydra to Syphon #171

I was wondering if there is a way to send, via Syphon, video generated in Hydra to other mapping software (f.e. MadMapper, Modul8 etc...). Might be usefull

This is a bit outside the scope of hydra unfortunately, you would have to screencapture a window and send to Syphon. I have also done something similar using OBS and NDI. I am going to close the issue, but feel free to continue discussing here or on discord.

For anyone else discovering this thread: I recently got this working - not with Syphon but with NDI. The package you want is DistroAV (formerly obs-ndi).

Hydra/Firefox -> OBS -> "Dedicated NDI Output"

The NDI output will show up as as "Live Input" in MadMapper.
