Windows has a cache for certain applications, if the apps cache gets full it's going to start bugging out. I'd recommend not scrolling pages and pages.
The only way to fix the issue is to close Hydra and reopen it.
What about page selection for the catalogue then? This way I can avoid many images in cache after reaching the page I want to (everytime)
May I ask why you are going page after page in the catalogue? Is there any issue with the search system?

I think they do it to discover new games.
Sidenote to OP, you could just use steam to find games then use hydra's search function.

I'm adding to library all games or series that I'd like to play in the future, I can't search things that I don't remember so yeah I just check all games
I think adding an input number page field to the catalogue could be handy since the catalogue order is always the same

Well there are many games outside of steam, the point is I'd like to use one app instead of going to whatever game list database > checking games > open hydra > search the game > add to library
Describe the bug
I am adding many games to my library, and bc the catalogue is so feature limited I go page by page adding games to library, go back to page, completing the page, then I go to the next and so on
After 50 pages or so this starts happening more often, probably bc for each page the launcher loads many images
