Hi, I created a drumkit which maps to the SFZ instrument of your choice loaded with the open source SCC Taiko drumkit: http://www.schristiancollins.com/vi-percussion.php Which is sourced from here: https://www.subaqueousmusic.com/free-taiko-drum-rack/

I copied the "empty" wav file from a DrumGizmo hydrogen kit. So you connect the H2 midi out to your SFZ player (Carla, on Linux, in my case), and boom.

So, can you host it? And do we have to have a minimum of one layer per instrument? :)

Thanks!

Hey, sorry for the late reply.

So, can you host it?

I think so. Since Hydrogen does not support SFZ drumkits yet it does have a valid use case. Also, it seems to be a common task to map an otherwise empty drumkit to an external sampler and AFAIK there is no kit consisting entirely of "empty" wav files to serve this purpose yet.

And do we have to have a minimum of one layer per instrument?

Unfortunately, yes.
