There are a couple of things that needs to be addressed before releasing Hydrogen as AppImage as a follow up to #1835
[x] system drumkits can not properly be used. They are accessed by absolute path which are not consistent between different runs of the AppImage. E.g. /tmp/.mount_Hydrogenbsdgs63fd/usr/share/data/drumkit vs. /tmp/.mount_HydrogenABED2343/usr/share/data/drumkit . Relative paths needs to be used instead
[x] use PulseAudio as the default audio driver. At least in Fedora 38 JACK does not work out of the box. ~This is most probably related to PipeWire and can be fixed. But it might scare first-day users and changing the default driver on first startup does no harm to JACK users either~. With no JACK present Hydrogen uses ALSA as fallback. But using ALSA directly is too inconvenient for Linux newbies.
[x] drumkit download is not working due to a (Qt) SSL error
[x] Use a more modern Qt5 version. In the package repo there is only Qt 5.5 available. But the AppVeyor image itself offers a compiled Qt 15.5
[x] Dynamic JACK support. In both Flatpak and AppImage the shared object of the JACK library must not be shipped but provided by the system. In our current implementation this mean the driver is shown as available but fails to start. It would be better to check it's availability on startup and opt-out of the JACK support.
