Hydrogen version * : Operating system + version : Audio driver + version :

Hi I was wondering whether you can point me in the direction of a simple 64 bit Plug-In for the new Hydrogen Vers 1.0.0 running under Windows 7. I have downloaded a number of Steve Harris 64 bit plug-ins - while one is listed called GVerb it doesn't seem to work i.e. Hydrogen is not finding it. I have successfully installed other Plug-Ins from the same source (some more useful than others) but reverb would is the one I need. Also Latency - I have tried using anm Alesis Photon Keyboard for input via USB Midi - PortMidi driver but cannot get latency down to a usable level. Thanks Phil PS Just discovered and tried the Playback feature - could prove very useful. I sometimes record piano / guitar ideas on Audacity and being able to export a wav and use it in Hydrogen helps when writing bass and drum parts.

I'm afraid that we can't do anything about the Latency, this is just an issue of PortMidi and the local midi driver.

No worries - am getting used to computer keyboard input but will keep trying with piano keyboard.

Hi @YungPhil , could you try the new release to see if this improves things for you latency-wise?

(The latency on Windows was indeed awful, and changing the buffer size on PortAudio was not an effective way to control it -- explicitly setting latency in the new version should improve things)
