participation in hydrology-tep #1

dear hydrology-tep developers,

I have been working on a simple app for retrieving, processing and presenting water storage in semi-arid northeast brazil in real-time, currently validating results with field observations. I have seen that you are implementing a similar solution in the hydrology-tep, but a lot is still under development. I am very interested in following this product and possibly in being a user/early adopter. I can see a lot of overlapping in our work, so it would be a good idea to somehow cooperate. For a starter check our propotype in https://github.com/jmigueldelgado/buhayra

We also have developed a framework for bathymetry estimation in small reservoirs based on TanDEM-X which could fit perfectly.

From your main website I learned that you are expecting a lot of participation from the communities, but it is not clear how that should happen. Could you please clarify this point?

Best jose

Is this repo alive?

Dear Jose, thanks for your interesting proposal and accept our apologies for the late response. In order to contribute to the hydrology-tep with software/services you will have to be on-boarded as early adopter and this is subject to approval by the HEP Governance. We will bring your request/proposal to the HEP Governance board and get back to you soon with the way forward.

Best regards, Fabrizio

Hi. That is good news. I have been trying to join the Small Water Body Mapping community in Hydrology TEP but I can't get past the registration (I am being forward to the terradue website and that's it).

I know this is not the place for this issue, but there is no other way to contact an admin on the hydrology tep.

Regards jose
