add brief message when inviting users #9

It strikes me that when users receive an invitation to a resource or group, they often won't know "why". This enhancement would allow a brief message (e.g., 140 characters in twitter style) to be attached to the invitation and displayed with it.

I think that a message attached to an invitation is a good idea. It would add to the information associated with invitations that can be displayed on a dashboard page. @horsburgh scoped out a dashboard page in his original mock ups for the project. This has sat since then. Are we now at a point to start actually mocking up and laying out the dashboard content.

There is also a question as to where this information is best stored.

I think that there is also a need for user profile content to hold setting that indicate whether a user should receive such messages in email or not, and depending on the setting to generate the email. This is probably
