I need to change my password for the username BYUTester so that I can share this information with the whole BYU group as we continue to develop the HydroShare Ribbon in Hydrodesktop. However, there seems to be no apparent way to recover or change the password for a user account. Could something be done to allow users to see and change their passwords, or am I doing it wrong? Either way it would be great if something about this could be done soon. Even if the administrator has to change it manually that would be an ok fix for now.
Here is the method I used when trying to change my password. When first looking at the log in screen this is what I saw:
After clicking on the "Recover Lost Password" I received the following email:
When I clicked on the link, it brought up this hopeful page:
But after clicking on the "Sign In" button it lead to this page, which can also be accessed by clicking on the "Settings" text in the upper left section of every page. Here is a picture of the result:
