Gender Marking of Athletes #3

Be aware that someone's gender may not correspond with the gender marking of the sport they play- not sure how many exceptions there are, but the coxswain for men's heavyweight crew is often female:

After running into a a few transgender athlete tags (Eg Schuyler Bailar of Harvard Men's Swimming) + Harvard's ski team not labeling gender, it may seem reasonable to leave gender off so as to avoid offending anyone inadvertently.
