Documentation: (a)ping method argument #99

Unless I misread the documentation, it does not seem to say that the ping method defined when a service is registered will get the service as its first and only argument. If I missed it, sorry for the overlook!

thanks, somehow it was implied but I didn't notice it's never spelled out at all
