Cannot create faction #5

Ive added the mod mid save but whenever I open the settlement menu and go to the Colonies tab to press "Create New Faction" nothing happens. Like the button does not have a function. I thought it was the continued struggle with SOS 2, however according to comments that should in theory be fixed. Any clues as to what could cause the issue? So turns out steam just trolled me and the downloaded mod was corrupted, redownload fixed it. After days of trying to find the mod conflict, fml
