Multiple grabbers with multiple LEDs - Having 2 different TVs. #1348

Feature request

I am currently using the old Hyperion with multiple Instances and two grabbers. One for the TV in Room A the other for Room B.

What problem does this feature solve?

Having two or more grabbers used in parallel allows to have one Instance of hyperion NG managing multiple grabbers for multiple outputs.

What does the proposed API look like?

How should this be implemented in your opinion?

Are you willing to work on this yourself?

If you would hint me with the places to start.

is the feature dead? I'm hoping for something similar - I'd love to be able to use two grabbers with one output - so kinda two instances, but one common output device. my scenario: chromecast connected to one grabber, xbox connected to second one. right now I need to manually change grabbers via configuration dashboard, because I can't set up different grabbers for different instances [and also: I am having one instance now, because of that]. I am also using HomeAssistant to control Hyperbian - so my plan was to switch between instances depending on xbox/chromecast state [it is possible in HA].
