Finalize - pending review - the terminolgy for the specification #193

Did a pass over the terminology to address the first part of #60. Once I have this done, as I pass through all of the spec docs (for a last pass review), I'll update the "ref"s.

Appreciate a review/approval/comments as I'd like this in place before the next step.
