Windows XP Console: Garbled Help Text #5

When displaying the help in windows (XP), there is a bunch of garbled text around the help contents.

The help contents are in UTF-8 format. No known solution to fix this bug without changing the help files.

Changing the codepage to 1252 will not fix the bug, and will stop krypton from working altogether from a batch file.

Temporary solution:

  1. Ignore it.
  2. Pretend like you can read "Kryptonian Konsole Script".

This bug does not affect the actual help contents.

Fixed. Help Docs are now ASCII encoded.
