No roundcube logout after owncloud logout #92

Closed superdoeni closed 11 years ago

superdoeni commented 11 years ago

Im using ownCloud 4.5.6 and Roundcube Webmail 0.8.5 with release 1.1.11 of your plugin. When i log out from owncloud, the roundcube session remains open.

For example: owncloud at https://example.net/cloud roundcube at https://example.net/mail

To reproduce:

  1. Login into owncloud via https://example.net/cloud
  2. click on webmail tab to open roundcube
  3. logout from owncloud
  4. open https://example.net/mail
  5. the roundcube mail session is still open

can anyone reproduce this potentially insecure behavior?

helonaut commented 11 years ago

Tried to reproduce this on my instance, but the session gets properly destroyed. Is your roundcube config hardened?

superdoeni commented 11 years ago

I did nothing besides the standard installation procedure. What do you mean with a hardened config, any special security settings?

helonaut commented 11 years ago

Ok, but the roundcube install could be different? I suggest posting your config here.

try setting $rcmail_config['x_frame_options'] = 'false'; Just to be sure. I will try to move out the iframe in a next version...

if this doesn't help try increasing the roundcube logging, e.g. $rcmail_config['debug_level'] = 4;

any news here?

cghamburg commented 11 years ago

Hi, I have the same problem: oc 5.0 = https://o.example.com/ rc 0.8.5 = https://o.example.com/roundcube/ (its a symlink in the oc directory)

The cookie 'roundcube_sessauth' is not destroyed when i logout from oc. But when i directly logout from oc/rc/ it gets destroyed.

I tried debug_level 8 but i didn't see any logging but logs/sendmail

Any suggestions what i should try?

what's your rc config?

cghamburg commented 11 years ago

Hi, Thanks for answering so quick :)

heres the main.inc.php (some config values replaced by example.com and 1234)

edit: cut out config that wasn't the issue

cghamburg commented 11 years ago

i solved it by configuring a hook for the oc_user logout signal:

appinfo/app.php:

OCP\Util::connectHook('OC_User', 'logout', 'RoundcubeLogin', 'logoutHook');

lib/RoundcubeLogin.class.php:

        public static function logoutHook() {
                $maildir = OCP\Config::getAppValue('roundcube', 'maildir', '');
                $rcl = new RoundcubeLogin($maildir);
                $rcl->logout();
        }
