π€ actually let me merge it, and review this after. This is still more accurate than what we have live now. As I need to send a few offer letters out, I prefer the handbook to be more consistent with the contracts.
Salaries are reassessed at minimum annually, or more frequently, at maximum quarterly. If a new hire or existing member negotiates a higher salary, we should reassess all roles to ensure pay consistency.
I'm not sure this is feasible in practical terms. I'm also unsure of what is entailed by reassessing all roles. As in, commence an evaluation process mid-year?
Would also suggest a slight edit on the evaluation section; it could be clearer.
Do not merge yet. We should review this together in Jan to ensure it tracks what we discussed.
I have made minor changes such as splitting out the contractor modifier to decouple from geo-scaling, and got rid of +1 modifiers (as they are confusing) and favoured a generalized custom adjustment that is a dollar amount, applied under special circumstances.
