Describe the bug A user in this ticket reported:

The Hypothesis plugin is not working in the newest version of OJS. Is there any other way to implement it into the system though coding?

OJS is a large open-source scholarly publishing ecosystem. we decided to support them. The integration is linked on our Tools, plugins, and integrations page and can be found here.

I've asked the user in the ticket to give us more specifics on how this is not working. At this time the issue is unclear.

I still think the ideal solution would be a plugin. However, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be possible to include a code in the system that would automatically open any pdf in Hypothesis by default. That would be a perfect temporary solution.

Notes from the user:

The steps for the Hypothesis plugin integration is described here: https://youtu.be/Xm4_tkIy9QI. The plugin is still available in the list of plugins of OJS. In the case of our journal, it is enabled, as the print below indicate:

However, when users open the PDF file in the webpage, Hypothesis won't function. You can try it here: https://cadernos.abralin.org/index.php/cadernos/article/view/271.

We don't maintain the plugin, as it belongs to a third party.

If we think the plugin is liable to get out of date with current OJS releases and not work as a result, I suggest we remove it from https://web.hypothes.is/tools-plug-ins-and-integrations/.

In the Slack thread linked above @dwhly had specifically asked us to support this. @chrisshaw FYI.
