Annotation editor on iOS Chrome produces blank panel #859

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to recent Chrome on iOS (12)
  2. Go to a site with H embedded (https://elifesciences.org/articles/04889)
  3. Sign in
  4. Select text, click annotate

Expected behaviour

Editor should appear

Actual behaviour

A blank space shows in sidebar

Tried this on my iPhone XS, iOS 12 with Chrome, and was not able to reproduce:

it worked just fine for me!
