As a new user (who ran gnome) I installed hypr wm on arch via yay -S hypr.
Also I had to manually create my hypr.conf file - it did not automatically create. This resulted being stuck in hypr with a black screen and no cursor since no config - hardware button to reboot.
The readme and the wiki (https://github.com/hyprwm/Hypr/wiki/Configuring-Hypr) doesn't mention that to use the example that you need kitty / xterm and dmenu installed. This results in logging into hypr with a menubar - but same problem - had to use hardware button to restart back into gnome and install kitty / dmenu.
That said love the look of hypr definitely a learning curve but super awesome! :)
Describe the solution you'd like
Add the how to configure to mention installing kitty and or xterm and dmenu.
