Closed tomKPZ closed 1 week ago

This issue seems to occur with Chrome windows at 2x scaling. Issue doesn't occur on sway. See this video for a demo:

there is no reason for me not to accept a pr that fixes stuff. I doubt it's on hyprland's side but I'm open to be proven wrong.

Alright, I'll make pull request whenever I'm free from work.

September 19 Update: Tomorrow I'm free. I'm free tomorrow at September 20

Hey @Edgars-Cirulis, have you made any progress on this?

xiaozhuo256 commented 2 weeks ago

Same problem.

Can someone test #7975?

nonetrix commented 1 week ago

If this is truly fixed can someone mention this in the Chromium issue?

BRS5672023 commented 1 week ago

It is maybe worth mentioning that #7975 also fixes the issue that zotero used to stretch itself when its geometry is changed, while I've not seen any other gtk apps behave like this.. Well, it is not fixed by the commit actually but I'm happy to see this issue is gone now.

Not? Please elaborate

Sorry, I mean the issue with zotero, the chromium issue is fixed with your commit.

It's only half fixed for me just much less extreme

Also some what unrelated, but any plan to implement zcr_extended_drag_v1? Idk why it's using that when I think better protocol exists, but since your not using wlroots could be implemented right? I think GNOME is only one to do so currently

I can also reproduce this by toggling split.
