I tryed the git version of Hyprland which didn't help maybe I need to try hyprcursor git
nope, that doesn't matter. Does disabling hardware cursors help?

Not sure where the good head is, but I didn't have this issue on that same version of hyprland on other distros. I sent a bug report to the gentoo guys to see if they have any idea. Seems to be a gentoo specific problem.

After a recent update to my gentoo system the cursor turned invisible. I am not on Nvidia so that is not the problem. I have tryed changing cursor themes but that does not work.
