Description

I use pidof hyprlock | hyprlock & sleep 1; systemctl suspend to suspend, second monitor is frozen after suspend, reconnecting only helps to make it work as expected.

How to reproduce

1. run pidof hyprlock | hyprlock & sleep 1; systemctl suspend with second screen, monitor
2. wait for 10-15 seconds
3. Exit sleep and there is hyprlock on both monitors, but hyprlock on 2 monitor does not work or react on anything
4. When I unlock, second monitor stays the same frozen on hyprlock login screen.
5. If I reconnect HDMI cable it starts working as expected

Hi, thank for your reply! Well I am already on Hyprland, built from branch main at commit eb42adc4c090918ad6be9fcb24066da8cdfd9bd0, which is hyprland-git, which uses aq-git? Or maybe I should try building to latest? I also use Nvidia GPU as output for second monitor does it matter?

GPU information: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation CoffeeLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics 630] [8086:3e9b] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) What's only with first GPU, Hyprland does not display it here for some reason, I have hybrid Intel iGPU and Nvidia GPU laptop with second monitor though HDMI.

My systemd-boot entry: title Arch Linux linux /vmlinuz-linux initrd /intel-ucode.img initrd /initramfs-linux.img options root=/dev/sdb2 rw quiet loglevel=2 nvidia_drm.modeset=1 nvidia.NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1

just cuz you on hl-git doesnt mean you on aq-git, you need to install aq-git separately

Still same on aq-git, when this happens only laptop screen unlocks, the other display hyprlock is frozen, but for some reason I can open apps in there and cursor or focus seems sometimes in there somehow. Also cursor lags sometimes on laptop while this happens. Anything else that might help you to have any idea where the problem might be?

Recompiled again with latest hyprland-git and aquamarine, suspend wake up of screen works without Hyprlock, no freezing, but replugging does not, it gives out black screen. Details #7694. Maybe I should just closes this? Seems like hyprlock issue.

Well not really solved it is still the same, but I don't think that's Hyprland or Aquamarine issue. Hyprlock still freezes nothing changed.
