Custom Icon Font #192

Closed 0aveRyan closed 9 years ago

A custom icon font based heavily on Brankic1979 and a handful of Octicons.

An iteratable .json project file, master copies of font and original css available for character reference (tidy within .zip). Icons for all defaults, Aesop addons and some for growing room (few dozen in set)

Possible Todo:

David! This is awesome! Great minds truly think alike. ;)

I'm going to hold on merging this for now. The only reason why is because I've started on Aesop Story Editor (the font end editor add-on for Aesop Story Engine), and with that I've also created a custom set of icons from IcoMoon.

Some of what you have above should be combined because some of those make more sense than what I've chosen. I've attached the font that I generated here just in case you want to add any to it.

Once we finalize the font we'll merge this into Aesop.

Awesome! I'll take a peek and see if there's a nice equilibrium that can be reached.

Hey @bearded-avenger when you get the chance (enjoy the holiday!), check out this updated set. Hard to make discerning choices without seeing exactly where in UI you're implementing each icon, but here's another set again largely based on Brankic1979, handful of Octicons and now handful of IcoMoo... Normally hesitate to combine icon sets, but these work well.

Included is a .json project file you can upload to Project area in IcoMoo App (keeps content selectors, CSS classes and vectors in one file -- much easier for collaborating/iterating on). Happy to do few rounds of refinement if needed.

Merry Christmas, cheers!
