Hints that appear after you are dead (end game hints: "You should have done this..."). In the modern mode, they appear between being dead and being reborn.

All hints appear maximum one time per game. They do not appear repeatedly in the same game.
Food poisoning
You ate a rotten corpse
Good corpses rot rather fast, and thus you need to eat them rather quickly after killing monsters
Corpses from zombies, mummies, and vampires are always rotten
Heal by prayer, fig, jar of medicinal salve, blessed potion of healing, potion of extra healing or better, or by unicorn horn, or by cure disease spell
Poisonous corpse
Do not eat corpses which may be poisonous
Potion of restore ability or cloudberry can restore lost strength
Hallucination from corpse
Do not eat corpses that may cause hallucination
Stun from corpse
Do not eat bat corpses
Poisoning from a fountain
Test fountains by dipping a potion into it before drinking
Get poison resistance as early as possible
Sickness from potion
Identify potions before drinking them
Heal by prayer, fig, jar of medicinal salve, blessed potion of healing, potion of extra healing or better, or by unicorn horn

Acquire full fire resistance or use ranged weapons

Eat the corpses (if safe) or use a tinning kit to tin the corpses

Write Elbereth or drop a scroll of scare monster or teleport the monster or yourself away.
Harpy stealing all the stuff
Use a wand of slow monster and a wand of lightning to blind the harpy and then kill it with ranged weapons.
Genocide harpies as early as possible
Paralysis from a floating eye
Do not hit floating eyes in melee unless you wear a blindfold or a towel
Use ranged weapons to kill them

Wear a ring of slow digestion to become immune to digestion effects
Int-drained by a tentacled one
Use a nose-ring of cerebral safe-guarding or a ring of sustain ability to become immune to the int drain
Kill the monster from afar with ranged weapons and wands
Wear a helmet to block 90% of tentacle attacks
Genocide dwarves and tentacled ones, if you are not a dwarf yourself
Killed by a touch of death
Acquire death resistance before engaging high priests and greater mummy high priests in combat

Kill shokcing spheres and other such creatures from afar

Don't put wands of cancellation into a bag of holding; keep them in a separate non-magical bag.
Do not put unidentified wands into a bag of holding
Burdened, Stressed, Strained, Overtaxed
Being burdened slows your speed and thus your combat power
Being Stressed/Strained/Overtaxed even more so
Try to be unburdened all the times if possible
Some bags reduce weight of items, so please put items into those bags, if you have them
