Feature & tweaks requests (if that's okay)

Haven't made it far yet but had tons of tweaks and feature wishes. May I request some? Will delete if it's bothering.

Tweaks

• [ ] Show mythic/elemental item effects via an animation alongside the existing sound effects. Spells are superbly animated, would love to see the full power of my flaming weapon too!
• [ ] Options to autostash gems, reagents or other specified items cats in best applicable bag
• [ ] Option to color branch stairs on tiles mode
• [ ] Describe dungeon features effects ingame, like on lookup?

Features I'd love to see

• [ ] Add additional powers/tweaks to artifacts Inspired by dNethack, which has the coolest artis.

• Mjollnir for example randomly fires 6d6 lightning bolts on hit (including thrown),

• Magicbane increase odds of its special effects on magic resistant monsters.

• Hellfire, cool arti crossbow that does an explosion on fire, consuming the bolt. More info on dnh artis on the wiki. More/tweaked special effects on artifacts would make finding them as cool as new spells. Btw you have the best spell system of any roguelike I've tried, I love limited, non-guaranteed but powerful options.

• [ ] Hackem themed rooms? (ported from 3.7 and Evilhack). Would love to see even more variety in the dungeon, with things like:

  • [ ] non guaranteed single level branches Slash'Em style,
  • [ ] dungeon level modifiers (level full of herbs or trees, swamped level, nest type level with one family of monsters, disconnected islands level (where whole level is devoid of corridors and each room contains a teleport trap. Islands could be surrounded by solid rock or water).
  • [ ] underground rivers with maybe buried items, ice terrain projecting hit characters in the other direction, mud having a chance to stuck in place and giving more to-hit, etc. With these beautiful tiles you have, these types of places would look wonderful.
  • [ ] magic item vaults or boss rooms, with a special chest guarded by a boss type monster that guarantees its content to have a least a prefix or suffix, some exclusive to them. More object properties or buffed variants of existing object properties dnethack style

• [ ] More roles and races or tweaks to existing roles and races? There too taking inspiration from dNethack maybe, which definitely has the most involved, along with notdnethack. Random tweaks to existing ones:

  • [ ] Humans: more skill points on average or faster skill progression

  • [ ] Gnolls: slightly more chance to gain intrinsics from corpses

  • [ ] Been playing some DCSS lately, some cool items:

  • [ ] Scrolls of acquirement. Probably not in their artifact-granting style but their SlashTHEM/Hackem implementation

  • [ ] Scrolls/wands of x clouds. Would be variants of stinking clouds. Ice clouds, flame clouds, lightning clouds… Ice could slow speed with cold damage, flame could have a chance to spread on move, lightning deal more damage depending on number of rings/amulets/miscellaneous, maybe metal too.

  • [ ] Cards and Decks, some dealing random effects. They could be rare ways to cast some spells once.
