Idle CPU load #174

Hi,

I just observed that Gmediarender (0.0.7-git20160329, debian stretch) always uses ~4% of CPU time (on Intel Celeron N3050) while not playing anything. Is this normal behaviour or a bug?

There is one thread that sends out events about the current status of the player, maybe this is what you're seeing ?
