I have been running the image-viewer as a built executable for a few weeks to display a GIF on a sign I have. I looked at it this morning and noticed the GIF was no longer animated. It's stopped on this frame. Any thoughts on what might cause this? It's obviously still running as the single frame is live (if it crashed I would expect it to be off completely).
I'll note that this panel (96x96) has been running a GIF at 200hz on a raspberry pi 4 for a month, 24/7.
Did you tried a different gif image? also have you tried compiling the latest rpi-rgb-led-matrix library? maybe is an sdcard problem. 24/7 for a month sounds like an overheated micro sd card to me.
