User Feedback: How to make a quick trigger using Shorten-URL without copy/paste? Answer: Step1: You can add a new workflow trigger with any keys. Step2: choose the URL/String (or use command+A), and then press Command+option+shift+U, the workflow will be called and a short link is there then.

check those screenshots below: choose-this step1 step2

I tried this and can’t get it to work. I have (correctly) for bit.ly put in my username, API key and custom domain (http://rjsi.ca). The action runs, and gives a notification of copy to clipboard, but nothing is on the clipboard except the url I highlighted.

Is there some problem with how I entered my custom domain, or something else in the script I have to alter?

Thanks.

Hi and good day,

Same problem as bob113 above.

For bit.ly - I have the API but what/ which is the login? where do I find it - the login to my Google account?

´´ 1 : {'api_url':'https://api-ssl.bitly.com/v3/shorten?format=json&login=hzlzh&apiKey=R_e8bcc43adaa5f818cc5d8a544a17d27d&longUrl=','title':'bit.ly','des':'http://bit.ly/'}, ´´

On top of that how would one set it up when I want to use a branded short url, such as http://liv-isl.in/… ?
