A couple of performance / UX improvements that would be nice to see when using a remote signer. These are mostly relevant when using a remote signer that is on hardware device with limited CPU power. Schnorr sigs can be v. slow on ESP32s....
These are just some suggestions that I might implement myself if time allows.
Send the "connect" request on loading nostrudel, rather than on first event post. This reduces first interaction time by half
On posting a reply or new post, add a "in progress" animation, or button text change to "Posting..."
When submitting a reaction to an event, display the reaction in the UX immediately and do the required NIP46 activities in the background
