Hi Isla - looking great already! A few adjustments Simon and I would suggest:

• At the beginning of each new list, add a short prompt (4 sec) that says "Learn new blue list" or "Learn new green list"
• make font larger
• make the the blue colour brigther to have higher contrast (green is easier to see on black background right now)
• the backward counting task should only be 30 sec, this was a typo in original email

Thanks for sharing the audio recordings! I just listened to them and have a few suggestions for how to conduct the recall test:

1. I think we can shorten the recall period to 60 seconds
2. There appear to be two people recalling the words, it should only be one.
3. There is quite a bit of chit-chat in between recalling the words. Ideally, after giving the instructions the experimenter and all other people in the room remain silent for the duration of the recall period. This ensures that the timings in between recalling words are meaningful and reduces interference, also it makes analysing the files easier.

This is the word lists for the 5 blocks I put together. We can run up to 4 blocks outside scanner, and 1 inside. Each block file has 2 lists with 10 words each, blue on left, green on right. Would be great if presentation order is being shuffled within each list (within blue, within green), but never mix up between the two lists.
