Include error #5

If I include a "snippet" with it (for example if I want to put a "mediawiki like infobox") it only shows the infobox, and skipps all other things.

I don't know it's an error, or not, but in this scenario I can't use it.

Can you please post the snippet and the page you want to include it to - or some other kind of sample? Please also post you think the result should look like.

I wanted to put a "footer of links" to my wikipage "swords"

I putted this: ~~META: templater page = templates:weapon_footer ~~

And only shows the footer and skips the entire page.

What is the basic content of the weapon_footer page? Does it include the @@CONTENT@@ placeholder?

The Wiki is for a Worldbuilding project and in this table shows the weapon types with a link for the corresponding page.

I think you are missing the @@CONTENT@@ placeholder. Each page that uses a template will completely be wrapped by this template.

I want to use two cases: For some pages include a footer at the bottom with links to other pages without placeholders. And on other include an infobox at the top with placeholders. Best example for this is the WoWpedia: http://wow.gamepedia.com/Tauren

There is an infobox on the right with the details of the Tauren race and on the bottom of the screen are several footer linkboxes. Bot case is populated from a template.
