Firstly, great little program. I'm using SIPDroid with an Asterisk PBX to act as "cordless" phones, basically I just turn WiFi on on my mobile phone, and hey presto, we have a cordless VoIP phone.
What I did notice though, was when I made calls from my mobile phone, the audio level of the call was very quiet. I think it was fine going the other way, and the fact I can hear the person at all suggests it isn't a network issue. I could adjust the volume, but basically it was quiet when turned up to maximum volume.
I have also tried calls on a Grandstream GXP1615 desk phone through the same Asterisk box, and that has very clear calls with good volume, so I don't think it's anything my VSP (Internode) or my network is doing.
The phone had negotiated G.722 audio with the Asterisk box (which is my border router). I haven't tried playing with the CODECs on the phone to see if other CODECs are affected.
Mobile phone is a ZTE T83 running Android 4.1. SIPDroid was downloaded from F-Droid.
