Unlock indicator not visible anymore #149

Closed fightling closed 5 years ago

fightling commented 7 years ago

Not sure what happend but since a week the unlock indicator isn't displayed anymore. I can use -c and -i successfully but the indicator is not visible anymore. Any hints?

Airblader commented 7 years ago

I assume you updated your system. Since i3lock hasn't released, it's not our release. Did you update cairo, for example?

fightling commented 7 years ago

Hm... currently I'm running version 1.15.2-0intel1 of libcairo2-dev

fightling commented 7 years ago

Ok. I have a new hint about this. I am running two external displays via DisplayLink over USB on linux. And the bug mentioned above appears only when I log in with my DisplayLink dock attached. When I log in without I can see the unlock indicator. Seems that I should report this to DisplayLink too.

c2h5oh commented 7 years ago

You might be onto something - this is only happening if I have my laptop connected to a docking station with displays connected to it

stapelberg commented 6 years ago

Can you provide the output of xrandr -q of an affected configuration and a working configuration please?

stapelberg commented 5 years ago

Is this still reproducible with i3lock ≥ 2.10 (which started using RandR to discover outputs)?

fightling commented 5 years ago

No, I think this is solved
